(a) Authorize travel, accept travel payments to the City of San José, and designate Mayor’s staff, Carolyn Wu, as the City representative to attend the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard (TECH) Foundations of City Innovation: Strategy, Leadership, & Practice 2-day Educational Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts from August 20 - August 22, 2019. Source of Funds: Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard (TECH); City of San José.
(b) Authorize travel, accept travel payments to the City of San José, and designate Mayor’s staff, Khanh Russo and Candace Le, as the City’s representatives to attend the 2019 Children’s Funding Institute in Denver, Colorado from September 4 - September 6, 2019. Source of Funds: Children’s Funding Project.
