...Recommendations
(a) Authorize travel, accept travel payments to the City of San José, and designate Councilmember Jimenez as a City representative to attend the Water Education for Latino Leaders Conference in Long Beach, CA on March 28-29, 2019. Source of Funds: Water Education for Latino Leaders.
(b) Approve travel by Councilmember Diep to Washington, D.C. on April 1-2, 2019 to represent the City and attend the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s Annual Spring Advocacy Trip, and authorize the use of District 4 funds for the registration fee, travel, hotel, meals and incidental expenses related to official travel. Source of Funds: District 4 Office Budget.
