A dedicated public servant, he was known for bringing warmth, compassion, fairness and professionalism in his role as Chair. Prior to his role on the Civil Service Commission, he served on the Housing Commission. Bill leaves behind many colleagues at the City of San José and his work and dedication to the Civil Service Commission will be missed. He will forever be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, an avid gardener, and strong community advocate. | | |
