Response to the Investigations of Police Misconduct in San José Report by Moeel, Lah, Fakhoury, LLP.

As referred by the Public Safety, Finance and Strategic Support Committee on October 19, 2023:
(a) Accept the report responding to the Investigations of Police Misconduct in San Jose report by Moeel, Lah, Fakhoury LLP (MLF Report); and
(b) Direct the City Manager and the Independent Police Auditor to reject the “hybrid model” of police oversight proposed in the MLF Report, and pursue alternative policy options as outlined in the accompanying staff memorandum.
