Approval of Various Events Sponsored by Council District 2 as City Council Sponsored Special Events to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Event.

As recommended by the Rules and Open Government Committee on May 25, 2022:
(a) Approve the Coronado Avenue Activation Series scheduled from April 30, 2022 through June 25, 2022 as City Council sponsored Special Events and approve the expenditure of funds for the series:
(1) April 30, 2022, Culture Night Market, retroactive approval;
(2) May 14, 2022, Culture Night Market, retroactive approval;
(3) May 27, 2022, Movie Night;
(4) May 28, 2022, Culture Night Market;
(5) June 4, 2022, Culture Night Market;
(6) June 10, 2022, Movie Night; and
(7) June 25, 2022, Culture Night Market.
(b) Approve the expenditure of District 2 office budget funds to purchase gift cards and other prizes not to exceed $50 for a free raffle; and
(c) Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the event.
