Update on Eviction Prevention Help Center and Expansion of Legal Support and Services.
...Recommendations
(a) Accept the report on the Housing Department’s efforts to provide rental assistance, legal services, education and support to vulnerable households in the City of San José at Eviction Prevention Help Centers;
(b) Adopt the following Appropriation Ordinance Amendments in the General Fund:
(1) Decrease the Measure E - 10% Homelessness Prevention Reserve by $575,000; and
(2) Establish a Measure E - Homeless Legal Services appropriation to the Housing Department in the amount of $575,000.
