Actions Related to the Agreement with California Department of Transportation for Public Art Murals on Caltrans Property.

...Recommendations

Adopt resolutions authorizing the City Manager or his designees to negotiate and execute maintenance agreements with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and accept maintenance responsibility for a public art mural to be created by the City at the following locations:

(a)                     On the columns under Caltrans Interstate 680 located at the intersection of Capitol Expressway.

(b)                     On the columns under Caltrans Interstate 680 located at the intersection of Jackson Ave.

(c)                     On the retaining walls under Caltrans Interstate 680 located at the intersection of King Road.

(d)                     On the residential side of a Caltrans Highway 101 soundwall located at the intersection of Havana Drive and Midfield Avenue.

CEQA: Not a Project, File No. PP17-003, Agreements/Contracts (New or Amended) resulting in no physical changes to the environment. Council Districts 5 & 7. (Economic Development)
