...Recommendations

1. Direct staff to present to the full Council the process for accepting the donation of the ship’s bell from the USS San Jose from the United States Department of the Navy with the assistance of retired San Jose Police Department Lieutenant Kenn Christie.

2. Once the bell has been accepted, consider the ship’s bell for permanent, interpretive display in the lobby of San Jose City Hall.

3. Place the item on the August 7, 2018 Council Agenda for action.
