Actions Related to the 8702 - 2018 San José Pavement Project.


Adopt a resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works to:

a.                     Award and execute the 8702 - 2018 San José Pavement Project, Federal Project No. STPL 5005 (152) construction contract to the lowest responsive bidder, in a total amount not to exceed $6,500,000.

b.                     If the Director awards a construction contract for the Project, establish a construction contingency of five percent of the amount of the construction contract, not to exceed $325,000.

c.                     Decide any timely bid protest(s), make the City’s final determination as to the lowest responsive bidder that is responsible, or reject all bids and rebid the project.
