Approve the following changes to the January-June 2018 Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee Work Plan:
(a) Add the following item from the Smart Cities and Service Improvements Committee (SCSI) Work Plan for May 3, 2018.
Facebook Live and Box Skills Pilot (City Manager’s Office, City Clerk’s Office)
Purpose: To demonstrate the use of this technology for engaging the general public with Council and Committee meetings in an online platform.
(b) Drop the following item from the SCSI Committee Work Plan for May 3, 2018. The item will be put on the Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2018-2019.
Access East Side (Innovation & Digital Strategy, Library, Information Technology, Public Works)
Purpose: Provide an update on the deployment of a community wireless network within the East Side Union High School District to provide greater internet access to underserved students. Discussion and feedback to staff.
