(a)                     Approve the Informational Briefing on the City of San José My Brother's Keeper (MBK) Strategy-Education Initiative scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2017 as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds.

(b)                     Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the event.
