Actions Related to the Agreement for the Transfer and Expenditure of All Housing Authority Litigation Award Funds.
Recommendation
(a) Adopt a resolution of the Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the City San José (“City Housing Authority”) authorizing the Executive Director of the City Housing Authority to execute a Cooperation Agreement with the City for the transfer of approximately $36.3 million in Housing Authority Litigation Award funds to the City to commit and expend such funds consistent with State Housing Authority law.
(b) Adopt a resolution of the City of San José authorizing the City Manager to execute a Cooperation Agreement to enable the City to commit and expend the transferred Housing Authority Litigation Award funds consistent with State Housing Authority law.
