...Recommendation
(a) Approve the Progressive Pride and Transgender flag raisings and the 2023 Silicon Valley Pride lighting ceremony scheduled from August 21 to 27, 2023 as City Council sponsored Special Events and approve the expenditure of funds; and
(b) Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the events.
