Agreements with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Development of the Blossom Valley Family Center.
...Recommendations
(a) Adopt a resolution:
(1) Authorizing the Housing Director, or his designee, to negotiate and execute agreements, and any amendments or modifications thereto, with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County to reimburse eligible costs, including acquisition costs, associated with the development of the Blossom Valley Family Center at 399 Blossom Hill Road, in an amount not to exceed $500,000;
(2) Authorizing the Housing Director, or his designee, to negotiate and execute, including retroactively, all grant documents and agreements necessary to accept and implement the $500,000 Economic Development Initiative - Community Project Funding grant; and
(3) Ratifying the grant documents and agreements with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to accept and implement the $500,000 Economic Development Initiative - Community Project Funding grant.
(b) Adopt the following 2026-2027 Appropriation Ordinance amendments in the Multi-Source Housing Fund:
(1) Decrease the Unrestricted Ending Fund Balance by $500,000; and
(2) Increase the Community Project Funding Grant appropriation to the Housing Department by $500,000.
