Approval of Proclamation for the Holiday Children Book Drive and the Holiday Children Book Drive Sponsored by Council District 1 as a City Council Sponsored Special Event to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Event.

As recommended by the Rules and Open Government Committee on November 19, 2025:
(a) Approve the Proclamation for the Holiday Children Book Drive scheduled on December 4, 2025 and the Holiday Children Book Drive scheduled on December 4-18, 2025 as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds; and
(b) Approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the event
in collaboration with the Fire Department.
