Funding Agreement with Affirmed Housing for Round 8 Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Grant Funds.
...Recommendations
(a) Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager, or her designee, to:
(1) Implement transportation improvements along King Road as identified in the Round 8 Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities grant awarded to Affirmed Housing; and
(2) Negotiate and execute required funding agreements with Affirmed Housing and related documents and agreements with Strategic Growth Council and the California Department of Housing and Community Development to accept up to $9,000,000 in Round 8 Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities grant funding.
(b) Adopt a “Public Entity Resolution” which indicates the City is authorized to accept and incur an obligation of the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Grant funds and enter into and execute the Standard Agreement 213 with the California Department of Housing and Sustainable Communities.
