Actions Related to the San José Clean Energy SJ Cares Program Expansion.
...Recommendations
Adopt a resolution:
(a) Expanding San José Clean Energy’s SJ Cares program to customers who are residents of affordable apartments as identified by the San José Housing Department, including an additional approximately 2,384 affordable units since the SJ Cares’ program creation on February 6, 2024; and
(b) Authorizing the future enrollment in SJ Cares of residents of affordable housing units added to the San José Housing Department's affordable apartments list, without further City Council action.
