GP20-003 - General Plan Amendment for Certain Property Located at 1975 Cambrianna Drive.

...Recommendations

(a) Adopt a resolution adopting the Cambrian School District General Plan Amendment Initial Study/Negative Declaration, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, as amended.

(b) Adopt a resolution:

 (1) Denying the Envision San José 2040 General Plan Land Use/Transportation Diagram Amendment to allow changing the land use designation from Public/Quasi Public to Residential Neighborhood on an approximately 2.7 gross acre site, located at 1975 Cambrianna Drive; or

 (2) Approving the Envision San José 2040 General Plan Land Use/Transportation Diagram Amendment to allow changing the land use designation from Public/Quasi Public to Residential Neighborhood on an approximately 2.7 gross acre site, located at 1975 Cambrianna Drive.

(c) Add an item to the Housing Crisis Workplan to explore policy changes for public school land conversions that could provide more opportunities for housing and revenue for public school districts.
