Grant Agreements and Resolutions for One Bay Area Grant (Cycle 3) Grant Acceptance.

...Recommendations

(a) Accept and receive One Bay Area Grant Funds (Cycle 3).

(b) Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager or her designee to negotiate and execute grant agreements and all documents necessary to effectuate the grant agreements with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in an amount not to exceed $58,686,000 in One Bay Area Grant funds (Cycle 3) for the following projects:

 (1) $3,300,000 for the Jackson Avenue Complete Streets with a local match of $825,000;

 (2) $12,974,000 for the Julian and St. James Livable Streets Couplet Conversion with a local match of $3,243,500;

 (3) $6,300,000 for the Signalized Intersections Pedestrian Safety Improvements with a local match of $1,575,000;

 (4) $32,730,000 for the Story-Keyes Complete Streets with a local match of $8,182,500; and

 (5) $3,382,000 for the White Road Pedestrian Safety Improvements with a local match of $845,000.

(c) Adopt a Resolution of Local Support that demonstrates the necessary assurances that each of the projects will be completed in compliance with the submitted applications, Metropolitan Transportation Commission Funding Delivery Policy, and the grant program requirements.

(d) Adopt a Metropolitan Transportation Commission State Housing Law Resolution that demonstrates the City’s intent to comply with the following State Housing Laws: Surplus Lands Act, Accessory Dwelling Units, and Density Bonus laws.
