1. Retroactively approve the 49ers Divisional Championship game acknowledgement Tower Lighting scheduled on January 20-21, 2024 as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds.
a. Approve the 49ers National Football Championship game acknowledgement Tower Lighting scheduled on January 28, 2024, as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds contingent upon the 49ers advancing to the National Football Championship.
b. Approve the 49ers Super Bowl Championship game acknowledgement Tower Lighting scheduled on February 11, 2024, as a City Council sponsored Special Event and approve the expenditure of funds contingent upon the 49ers advancing to the Super Bowl.
2. Retroactively approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses or community groups to support the event, and approve and accept donations from various individuals, businesses, or community groups to support the upcoming events contingent upon the 49ers advancing to the National Football Championship and the Super Bowl Championship Game.
3. Place the item on the January 30, 2024 Council Agenda for action.
