Adopt a resolution:
(a) Approving the Environmental Services Department’s application to the California Department of Parks and Recreation’s Outdoor Equity Grants Program for Independence High School and the surrounding community to provide opportunities for members of the community and students to learn about and explore their local waterways, build a relationship with nature, foster a sense of environmental stewardship, and provide career development skills for the students; and
(b) Authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute documents necessary to accept the grant, if awarded.
