Amendments to the City’s Citizen Participation Plan.
...Recommendation
(a) Approve amendments to the federally-required Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) for the expenditure of funds from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide alternate rules for public notices and comment periods when a national, state, or local emergency is declared;
(b) Approve amendments to the CPP to allow for virtual attendees to various HUD-required hearings as a regular addition to in-person hearings; and
(c) Approve other updates to align with the current federal regulations as amended.
