Actions Related to the Purchase Order for Modular Video Detection Systems.

...Recommendations

Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to:

(a)                     Execute a Purchase Order with Iteris (Santa Ana, CA) for the purchase of Modular Video Detection Systems, including hardware, software, and maintenance for a twelve-month period, starting on or about December 4, 2019 and ending on December 3, 2020, with maximum compensation not to exceed $720,000; and

(b)                     Exercise up to four additional one-year options to extend the term of the purchase order after the initial term with the last option year ending on or about December 3, 2024, to purchase additional systems and provide ongoing maintenance and support, subject to the appropriation of funds.

CEQA:  Categorically Exempt, CEQA Guidelines Section 15303(d), New Construction of Small Structures. (Finance)

RECOMMEND DEFERRAL TO 12/10/19 PER ADMINISTRATION
