(a) Authorize travel, accept travel payments to the City of San José, designate Mayor Sam Liccardo as the City representative to attend CityLab: Urban Solutions to Global Challenges in Washington, DC from October 26-29, 2019, and excuse absence from the Regular Meeting of the City Council on October 29, 2019. Source of Funds: Aspen Institute and potential use of Mayor's Office Budget.
(b) Authorize travel, accept travel payments to the City of San José, designate Mayor Sam Liccardo as the City representative to attend the Pacific Northwest Progressive Leaders Education Seminar in Israel from December 14-22, 2019, and excuse absence from the Regular Meeting of the City Council meeting on December 17, 2019 and Rules and Open Government on December 18, 2019. Source of Funds: American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF).
