Actions Related to the EMS Trust Fund Agreement with the County of Santa Clara for Reimbursement of First Responder Category C - Benefit to EMS System Users Funds.

...Recommendations

a.                     Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement between the County of Santa Clara and the City of San José to accept an amount not to exceed $472,706.06 to fund the purchase of products or services that benefit the Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system (EMS Trust Fund, Category C - Benefit to EMS System User Funds).

b.                     Adopt the following 2018-2019 Appropriation Ordinance and Funding Sources Resolution amendments in the General Fund:

                     1.                     Increase the Earned Revenue Estimate from Local Agencies by $472,706; and

                     2.                     Increase the Fire Department appropriation for Non-Personal/Equipment by $472,706.
